The Example I look up to
He had the truth. He told the truth.
He was looked down upon, ridiculed, and hurt.
He was secluded, with his family, in the mountains. They were denied food, goods, and contacts.
His companions were oppressed, tortured, and killed.
That was very miserable, I'd think. But also familiar. I see people like this every day on TV. People I so identify with.
But see, he was not miserable. He didn't order retaliation. He didn't ask his companions to kill the aggressors, nor to suicide bomb the heck out of them.
So why should I? Why should I condone people doing this?
I won't.

a tricky question, most scholars will not like to answer it, and most of them will answer a completely different answer than the others.
we should note the following:-
1- note next verse
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُوا أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَنْ يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لا تَعْلَمُونَ (30)
البقرة
This verse show us the pure and deep old , very very old , even before man existance about the truth of killing (سفك الدماء )and how it is a very bad thing , that is associated with Alfasad يفسد فيها ,this should be in our mind when we tackle such issue.
2- suicide (self killing) is illegitimate in Islam
3- suicide attack in name of God with the intention that as the attacker is a martyr he/she will go directly to heaven is like a dream of desprate people , and Allah told us that it is not that easy.
وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلاً مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ (33) وَلا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلا السَّيِّئَةُ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ (34) وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلاَّ ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ (35) فصلت
4- If suicide in name of God is a confirmed ticket to heaven , that should lead to the extinction of muslim (all will go and kill themself and go to heaven)???
5- The companions of the messenger of Allah did not do it, while they fear not death in battle, they did not put themself to death to kill some people, they fight and not just kill, that's a great difference.
) وَأَنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلا تُلْقُوا بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ وَأَحْسِنُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ (195) البقرة
5- And at last killing self and killing other innocent people does not conform with the basics of deen
مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْساً بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعاً وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعاً وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيراً مِنْهُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ (32)
المائدة
) قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَلاَّ تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئاً وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَاناً وَلا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلادَكُمْ مِنْ إِمْلاقٍ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَلا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ (151)
الأنعام
"Umirtu ann uqaatil annaas hatta yaqulu laa ilaha illa Allah".
Mann maata doona malih fa huwa shaheed (He who dies protecting what he owns is a shaheed)

Are we becoming animals?? Even animals have senses! Is there any of us who can comprehend? (the same question presented in the video above).
I am NOT asking for revenge for this, at all. We should NOT make jihaad for revenge.
However, we should make jihad to defend more Muslims from this happening to them, or from them leaving Islam (or compromising it like you guys are doing, when you are weak and unable to defend it). We should protect the honor of Islam (reflected in the honor of its people) and its reputation. These are the right motivations for jihaad. I hope you understand, and are that you are sincere.
May Allah grant us the proper understanding of His beautiful deen, and the means to implement it. Ameen
